A Fulton County motorist was charged Wednesday with killing Jack Snook who had recently returned from duty in Iraq during a predawn argument on the streets of downtown Atlanta.

Charles Anthony Key, 23, surrendered early Wednesday morning at his Ninas Trace home south of Cascade Road, said Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Quigley.

Snook, a Marine, returned home about a month ago after a tour of duty in Iraq.

According to the police report, Snook's wife, Cara, was standing behind her husband when he was shot and died in her arms.
